San Diego Get-a-Way

A couple weekends ago, we took a little family get-a-way to San Diego for 4 days. Sam got some surfing in, I got to shop a little, and we spent a day at Sea World, a day at the San Diego Zoo, and a day at the Wild Animal Park. A little much for a weekend, but I couldn't decide between all the parks, so we hit them all. Sam and I REALLY enjoyed the animals and Beckett did as well for the most park, but I think his favorite part was chasing the various birds around at each park! Did you know that it's not polite to stare at a gorilla? This gorilla was rather upset that so many people were starring. Not long after this picture was taken, he grabbed a handful of grass and threw it our way!

This weekend Sam and I are looking forward to spending time, just us 2 (happy almost 5 year anniversary Sam!), in Vegas while Beckett hangs out with his cousins, Mallory and Chase. Ah...aren't vacations the bestest!?!
