Summer Beach Trips

This summer we, as a family, have gone on quite a few week long beach trips...3 to be exact! First we adventured to Pismo with my (Janiece's family) in June, then to San Elijo with Sam's family in July, and we just got back from another trip to San Elijo with our friends, the Norton family, for Labor Day. Here are a few pictures from our fun camping adventures...

The Princess is ONE!

I can't believe how fast time has flown by...Skylee turned 1 on July 10th and what better way to celebrate the big day than a princess party for a princess herself!

An Inspiring Story

My friend, Sarah, from nursing school has a son, William, that is about 2 months older than Skylee. He is really really sick in the PICU with an infection and multiple other complications because of it. My life lately...

My 2 cuties... Skylee keeping herself busy making a complete mess out of my fabric pile.

Beckett eating his favorite bedtime snack...graham crackers dipped in milk. He prepared his own that night, hence the reason there's a mountain of graham crackers, lol.

June 4, 2011...I completed my 2nd half marathon, my time = 2:07:37 (8 minutes less than my last 1/2...go me!)

My latest craft project. Skylee's room is consumed with bows and flowers, so I made this nifty holder out of an old frame that I had, some fabric to match her bedding, and chicken wire (those are only like 1/4 of her hair accessories).
