Blake...update

Well, so it's been almost two weeks since Blake's big incident. The day after our trip to the vet, his "bug bite" opened up and started oozing all of the pus/blood (so graphic, I know) and continued to ooze for a good 3-4 days...what a blessing! Slowly, but surely, the swelling started to go away. Blake was pretty weak from Sunday to about Thursday...barely getting up to pee/poop, eat, and drink. I'm sure he was also in a lot of pain as well...he did get pain meds in addition to the antibiotics. Well, he's finished his antibiotics, the swelling is entirely gone (just bruised now), and Blake is pretty much back to his normal self...yeah! We are hoping that the infection is gone...it's good to have our "beast" back.
